Something black

How can you sleep like this, lying next to me?
How can you do this to me, it runs in my mind.
I meant no harm by it, so I’ve burnt my fingers.
Now I begin to see and feel what it’s like.
That was clumsy of me, I might have guessed.

Take it from me, I couldn’t care less.
Just go – on, with driving me insane.

And of all the times, he has to run into me now
and he’s a thorn in my side
and he tries to palm it off on me

I’ll get sick inside
and I only wanna cry

There’s something black floating through my head,
there’s something over me, that you can feel but
didn’t see

I hope you find a way, to look at me the same
and if you don’t no ”I wan’t to let go“.

Leave the work to me, I enjoy that.
Fortune smiled on me but this won’t serve my turn.

You can put it in a frame, if you like,
maybe it’s easier to throw it behind.
Wake up to see what we’ve got.
Don’t you believe, that it’s not,
what it’s – supposed – to be, I’m very sorry.

And of all the times, I see you standing next to me
What a fine friend you are
When you start off laughing over me
I get sick inside
and I only wanna cry

There’s something black floating through my head,
there’s something over me, that you can feel but
didn’t see
I hope you find a way, to look at me the same
and if you don’t no ”I wan’t to let go“.

Like you spit on me is what I feel now
World is moving while I don’t know where I go
You’ve crossed the line again and light fades to grey
But we never could have made it anyway
You should try to get it out off your mind

You should try to make it to the other side
Just stop now with driving me insane

And of all the times, you have to run into me now
and you’re a thorn in my side
and you try to palm it off on me

I’ll get sick inside
and I only wanna cry

There’s something black floating through my head,
there’s something over me, that you can feel but
didn’t see

I hope you find a way, to look at me the same
and if you don’t no ”I wan’t to let go“.

If you’ve tried to look at me to find out that I’m sorry
You will see that I don’t know

And at the end of the day
You’ll find me walking away

This boy is mine

waking up early
a look at his face
knowing the truth
i’m in the wrong place

he’s not a bad man
and i cannot complain
but how to explain
that i still feel to say

this boy is mine

not even the night
i was drunk at his side
gave me an idea
of what is wrong or right
i’m laying my heart

into destiny’s guide
this boy next to me
has a beautiful smile

this boy is mine

is this supposed to be a tragedy?
possibly
he promised me to cure away my fears
well, thank you dear

Twittering Bird

Listen to the chief he says
Don’t waste your time
Now go to hell

Reach a castle far away
And hope for better days

If we could see
The dream of being free
The bird asked why

And then leaned back yeah don’t say goodbye

The castle breaks down when you don’t turn around
The wind takes you higher, far away from the ground
The people so small still livin’ their lives
Fly higher little bird high into the sky

yeah!

There’s no way back – the chief was right
Must move my feet to win this fight
I got no map no memory
To solve this mystery

If we could see
The dream of being free
The bird asked why
And then leaned back yeah don’t say goodbye

When I lay down and I close my eyes
I see a rich kid with his sweet little tie
In his hands a white bird flying into the sky
Calling out loudly “I realized life”

Listen to the chief he says
Don’t waste your time
Now go to hell
Reach a castle far away
And hope for better days

If we could see
The dream of being free
The bird asked why
And then leaned back yeah don’t say goodbye

Fuck Art Let’s Dance

Text: Helena Heizmann

Tonite, there’s not a thing to hide
Cause we, we drop the center light
You’re right, when you believe I’m in your side

When I looked into your eyes
I thought you were the bitter kind who drinks
To make the day go bright

Why, why we dance until we die
Time strikes back if we don’t try
To live

When I looked into your eyes
I thought you were the bitter kind who drinks

To make the day go bright

Bombs exploding into lights
That burn the darkest thinkers nights
And make the saddest song sound simply kind

I lift up my eyebrows and close them at once
These tables are moving the lated night glance
I’m a dead talking soldier
I’m a protestant clown
Shoot all my power

Shoot this slow shaking town yeah!
